Plot summary

A full-length animated feature starring the little yellow bird. When Col. Rimfire announces at the Looney Club his belief that cats are the most intelligent animals, Granny, hoping to raise enough money to save a nearby children's park, makes a wager that her Tweety can fly around the world in 80 days, collecting the pawprints of 80 cats in the process. Sylvester, still hoping to make Tweety his personal snack, is incensed at the thought of some other cat getting the little bird first and vows to follow Tweety around the world and catch the canary himself.

Not gonna lie, this is a pretty bland

Not gonna lie, this is a pretty bland DTV Looney Tunes adventure. The "Around the World in 80 Days" plot had potential, I laughed a few times at some of the slapstick, the voice acting is decent and it's nice to see a feature-length Looney Tunes film that stars somebody other than Bugs or Daffy (speaking of which, judging by the fact that John Cena's going to be in the upcoming Wile E. Coyote & Road Runner film, it seems that Warner Bros. doesn't have as much faith in making a silent film as Aardman did when they made TWO Shaun the Sheep movies). However, it falls flat in its execution with weak writing, bland animation, forgettable songs and lame gags. To cut a long story short, Bah Humduck! was better. Given the choice between the two, I'd take the other one in a heartbeat. A cheap DTV film that feels like it was made to make a few quick bucks to cash in on The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries (it's not a mystery film but TV Tropes does point out certain similar aspects that make it a "stealth sequel" of sorts), a cartoon I was always indifferent towards and MIGHT have been the reason why we barely get any DTV Looney Tunes films unlike the annual releases of Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry and DC (by the looks of it, Mortal Kombat is joining the straight-to-DVD club as well). I'm sure this is still miles better than King Tweety, though. Just looking at the poster alienated me because of the unappealing art style. I didn't even know Looney Tunes released another DT-DVD until I saw it hanging around certain websites. I'm not watching King Tweety, something tells me this is the lesser of two evils and only the Daffy Duck Christmas Carol movie matters. To quote The Mandalorian, "I have spoken".
