Plot summary

Greg Kielty's life is turned upside down when his estranged brother Dan turns up, claiming to have drunkenly run someone over. But has Dan just murdered a gangster's son? Or maybe there's an even more sinister explanation.

This is a great British indie film. Wonderful

This is a great British indie film. Wonderful characters, amazing twists and turns and fantastic dialogue. Craig Kelly is brilliant as the 'hero' but the other British faces like Frances Barber, Shaun Parkes and Jason Flemyng are all amazing too. Had me gripped to the very end and the end itself is an absolute shocker - never saw that coming! Blackpool at night on Halloween has never looked spookier and there is some surreal stuff in there too. There is also a really strong vein of black humour to make the tension feel even tenser. I'd love to see a sequel. Can't recommend this highly enough.

Blackpool by night!!

It was nice to see Blackpool used as the set location in a movie for once, but this was hamstrung by budget, script and, in some cases, the acting. Craig Lynch was as good as ever, so was Jessamine Bliss Bell, Frances Barber not. The final twist makes it interesting but cannot explain away all the plotholes. A shame, as it had the makings of a good, budget version of 'The Game'.
