Plot summary

80-year-old Thomas recounts his childhood and middle age through a series of flashbacks and dream sequences. Thomas believes he’s been taken away from a better life at birth; following a hospital fire, he vividly recalls being swapped with another new-born, and subsequently grows up in a poorer neighbouring household.

This is quite a delightful film about an elderly man recounting his childhood and all the issues he went through. The story is intriguing and the characters well portrayed. It's a touching, sad and quite engrossing film that I thought was well made and depicts childhood innocence well, so yes, I'd recommend it. Oh, I'll give one warning - this film does feature a certain French tune often and so you might find yourself with a bit of an earworm after watching this - count yourself warned! lol.
