Plot: Inspired by true events. A West Texas single mother wins the lottery and squanders it just as fast, leaving behind a world of heartbreak. Years later, with her charm running out and nowhere to go, she fights to rebuild her life and find redemption.
Andrea Riseborough is one hell of an actress. Great film.
Since it doesn't seem to be anywhere on the page, here is the synopsis: "Leslie, a West Texas single mother, struggles to provide for her son when she wins the lottery and a chance at a good life. But a few short years later the money is gone and Leslie is on her own living hard, she is forced to make a difficult choice."
Excellent movie. Excellent acting, directing and a nicely told emotional story.
