Plot summary

The Academy Award-winning director and National Geographic Explorer-at-Large James Cameron adds a postscript to his fictional retelling of the tragedy. An okay special.

A perfectly fine TV documentary that is most interesting for the parts where James Cameron gets to continually obsess over Titanic, and how people have reacted to it, a quarter of a century later. It's all very polished and sanitized, though, so Cameron comes off as a bit quirky at worst, and I do feel like they don't want to push anything. Trying to bust the Mythbusters is funny and kind of petty in a way this documentary doesn't really want to dig into. But even having edited-down and sanitized James Cameron at the center of a documentary is decently fun. This is all perfectly watchable if you want to see a few movie-related experiments play out while looking back - to a limited extent - on the iconic movie overall.
