Of the entire "Thong Girl" franchise, I have thankfully only seen the 2010 movie "Thong Girl 4: The Body Electric" and it was pretty terrible. Yet, since I had the opportunity to watch the 2014 movie "Thong Girl vs Xolta from Outer Space", I opted to check it out. But truth be told, I had absolutely no expectations to writer and director Glen Weiss's 2014 movie.The movie's cover alone was more than sufficient to instill absolutely no expectations to the movie. And the 2.7 rating on IMDb was exactly screaming stellar entertainment either.The storyline in "Thong Girl vs Xolta from Outer Space", as written by Glen Weiss, was actually cheesy and bad enough to be oddly entertaining and enjoyable. Yup, this was so bad that it crossed over and became a funny movie to watch. Sure, this was by no means stellar entertainment.Needless to say that I was, of course, not familiar with a single actress or actor on the cast list. The acting performances in the movie certainly left much to be desired. Some of the acting performances were wooden, amateurish and bad, while others were fair and passable.The effects in the movie were questionable at best, and the CGI was taken straight out of a 1990s computer game, so it was pretty abysmal.If you enjoy movies so bad and cheesy that they become fun to watch, then give this 2014 movie a chance.My rating of writer and director Glen Weiss's 2014 movie "Thong Girl vs Xolta from Outer Space" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.
