One of my dads favorite movies,, I had to watch it all the time as a kid,,, along with Papillon and Hamburger Hill..... I just remember that this movie was really long and I would always fall asleep to it on Sundays... Ironically enough today is Sunday so it was a perfect time to write this review... Think Im off to go snooze now hahaha

They Who Dare is a rather unmemorable WW2 sabotage flick. The character writing is pretty weak, action is slow, and the effects are of (50s) TV-quality. I found it annoying that when the saboteurs split up, the film only follows the first group. The second group only shortly re-emerges near the end of the film, to be captured on camera by the Italian troops. Filming also had its issues. I was especially distracted by the unbashed use of light reflectors on every second scene, even for scenes shot outdoors. The biggest plus of the film is that it's currently on Netflix. If you're into WW2-themed flicks, you may want to check it out. But I wouldn't recommend it otherwise.
