Plot summary

A young widow on a trip to the backwoods stumbles upon the operation of a gang of drug smugglers. They attempt to kill her in order to keep their operation a secret, but she turns out to be more resourceful than they thought, and starts to turn the tables on them.

Watchable but also repetitive horror-thriller finds our heroine

Watchable but also repetitive horror-thriller finds our heroine running, getting captured by drug dealers, escaping, captured once again and escaping, and yet again captured before escaping one last time. This goes on for a good hour of an already short movie. The last 15-minutes or so was entertaining enough but the rest is a bit of a chore to sit through. The whole premise makes no sense as to why they wanted to keep her alive. Debra Sweaney was attractive at least. **2.25/5**

It's hard for me to give this movie a bad review. Yes, almost every aspect of the movie was done poorly. The story is dumb, the cinematography is crappy, the chases don't make any sense, and the acting is just terrible.But despite all of this, the movie is just incredibly entertaining. Every time you see a boom mic, or a stunt double that is clearly a forty year old man and not the female lead, your soul smiles a little bit inside.I would say that this is a better bad movie than the Rocky Horror Picture Show. While RHPS kinda drags in the third act, this movie remains entertaining throughout.Don't go in expecting a masterpiece or even competence and you're in for a good time.

Inept, ridiculous, non-sensical, poorly executed, fun!

The beautiful in an 80's way Debra Sweaney plays a woman looking at a piece of property in the woods with her real estate agent who runs afoul of an unconvincing gang of drug dealers (maybe?). Sweaney can't act, but she's Meryl Streep compared to her co-stars. From start to finish this movie very strongly resembles something you might have made as a kid when your parents bought their first video camera. Well, except that the continuity and special effects are worse than you probably produced. The action scenes are universally terrible, and the logic is non-existent. That said, this is a riot to watch. Strangely for this type of movie, Sweaney doesn't show any skin beyond her magnificent belly but, on the upside, the violence is hilarious, the gore is about as convincing as the lead being a badass, and the villains' lines are as cartoonish as their motivations. Yes, it's a 4/10, but still recommended. If you have some weed to smoke beforehand, so much the better.
