I'm not sure there are enough so far... except of course for every other review than this one as of July 20.I hate it when you're interested in a movie enough to look it up, and then these obvious overwritten AI reviews litter the landscape.I will give it some time and then check back here and on rotten tomatoes and see what time will tell.I'm repeating my entire review because I apparently did not have enough characters... Although it occurs to me I could've used AI... 8-)I'm not sure there are enough so far... except of course for every other review than this one as of July 20.I hate it when you're interested in a movie enough to look it up, and then these obvious overwritten AI reviews litter the landscape.I will give it some time and then check back here and on rotten tomatoes and see what time will tell.

A Decent Thriller With a Good Twist

I came across There's a New Killer in Town while browsing Lifetime thrillers, and it turned out better than I expected. The story moves at a steady pace and has a few tense moments that keep you interested. It's not overly complicated, which works in its favor ..you don't have to think too hard to follow what's going on.The performances are pretty good for a TV movie. The lead actress does a solid job carrying the story, and the supporting cast is decent. I liked the small town setting and the eerie vibe it created throughout. There's a twist near the end that I didn't see coming, which added to the fun.Of course, it has the usual Lifetime feel a bit predictable in some spots, and some of the dialogue is a little cheesy. But overall, if you enjoy light thrillers with a bit of mystery and drama, this one is worth a watch.
