Plot summary

A newspaper publisher's daughter suffers from neglect by her parents. She and her friends turn to crime by dressing up like men, holding up gas stations, raping young men at gunpoint, and having makeout parties when her parents are away. Their "fence" gets them to trash the school on request of sinister un-American clients, and they run afoul of the law, apple pie, and God himself.

Many movies have been described as "so bad

Many movies have been described as "so bad it's good." Most of those are just plain bad, but this one just might fit the bill. Terrible acting combined with Ed Wood's usual earnest but lame dialogue makes for some amusing moments. Girls kissing boys! Scandalous!

The script was terribly phoney and written for the sole purpose of explaining the plot. The characters didn't sound like they were even talking to each other. And as for the acting... I think most high school students could reach that level. Awfully wooden. Overall a masterclass in how not to direct a movie. For the audience, unwatchable.

The overall rating is probably correct. There's nothing about this movie that you can say is well done or quality. From it's simplistic message that crime doesn't pay or aimless teens looking for thrills or whatever it is entertaining for being schlocky in every sense. So bad it's good. Just the right length too on the shorter side.
