Again, I watched this movie for Beaudoin because

Again, I watched this movie for Beaudoin because I loved The Spirit of Christmas. Needless to say, the Chemistry between Beaudoin and Rachel Melvin was hot. I actually find it really hard to believe that kiss was fake. Anyone who's seen this movie knows which one I'm talking about. It was literally cruel and unusual punishment. If Rachel didn't leave the set that night alone, none of us ladies are judging! ... Unless he's a complete weirdo offset, which is possible. Rachel did so well as the leading lady. I don't think I have anything negative at all to say about her. Anyway, I'd love to give this movie five stars but I can't, honestly. Some of the dialogue was bad but these movies always have some of that. The s** scenes were funny and weird. Like, why was there a couch and blanket on the rooftop?? Does it never rain there, lmbo? Also, who talks and casually laughs during s**, especially the first time? Then they supposedly had all these Os... Umm, I don't think so. I watched it and I'm pretty sure there wasn't even one, LMBO... But okay. That conversation was so stupid and hard to watch. The other s** scenes were weird too, the lighting was weird, Beaudoin's hilarious plaid boxers. They tried to do a nude scene that was a major fail and should have been removed. As much as I love him as the lead man, his body wasn't in shape for the scene and maybe better left for the imagination. Beaudoin's acting was a little off here and there too but it may have been the dialogue. He was still able to make what would have been a creepy scene with anyone else hotter than hot.

An attractive couple with smoldering chemistry hook-up for Christmas...and maybe beyond?

This is a Holiday offering from Passionflix based on a beloved series of books. Our heroine in this story is Willa, who has a sad back story that she has used to motivate her to own her own business and be in a position to help make positive changes in other's lives. Our hero is Keane, who met and stood Willa up in high school for a Sadie Hawkins dance (Willa's first and only high school dance experience). Keane is also a small business owner, he buys properties like a gorgeous old Victorian and fixes them up to sell. Keane and Willa are not without problems...Keane's family isn't close and it has left him reluctant to form attachments and he is afraid of heights. Willa's past has left her in a situation where she has sworn off men, but still makes wishes with a coin in a fountain to find true love.

Keane meets Willa (again) when his great-aunt leaves him with a cat, Petunia, that he can't watch while he works. The cat and Keane initially do not get along very well. Enter Willa, or more specifically her boarding services. I would like to say that magic happens at this point point, but Willa in particular is reluctant to start anything with Keane especially when he proclaims he is just good in the now (vs. Future).

These two have chemistry for days and are both very attractive. Can I just say, I would have fallen in love with Keane's house alone...and to add his adorable self in to the package...we'll, sign me up!

There was a lot of non-dialogue in this film, aka smoldering eyes etc. I felt there was character growth for both our hero and heroine without there being a lot of commentary on it.

I guess for me this was heavy on the romance, light on the story...yet still an enjoyable watch.
