Plot summary

The clumsy and shy Stanley is a nice fellow, beloved by his colleagues in the office. He has a crush on the gorgeous new-hire Diana, but he has difficulties to get close to her. When Stanley finally invites Diana for a date, he hits the homeless Phil with his Taurus, and his planned night turns upside down.

This movie doesn't work at all. Luke Wilson's

This movie doesn't work at all. Luke Wilson's character is unlikable. He's in just about every scene. Denise Richard's character is not endearing and the two don't have any chemistry. The third wheel, Jay Lacopo, is an annoying character, and there are few laughs in this comedy. I kept waiting for it to get better. It didn't. The obligatory happy ending falls flat. Don't waste your time.
