Plot summary

A glowing brain-like creature arrives on a beach near a rocket test site via a teleportation beam. The alien communicates telepathically with the children of scientists. The kids start doing the alien's bidding as the adults try to find out what's happening to their unruly offspring.

Better than i expected, while yes, the wooden

Better than i expected, while yes, the wooden acting from the adults (the kids actually did a decent job) may get in the way one time or another, it's still an engaging story about the horrors of nuclear war told with a thrilling sci-fi spin that gets you hooked on.
