The two leads carry a very well-acted slow-paced

The two leads carry a very well-acted slow-paced movie about mental illness, murder, suspicion and unreality. The Silent Planet is atmospherically sullen. Nathan, played by Reuben Fredrick Grear, hears what may or may not be his own voice echoed in his mind, or it may be a gaseous entity living on the planet. Did he murder Niyya, played by Briana Middlestone's, family or are their thoughts being affected by the gaseous creature which may or may not be real. A very enjoyable movie.

As with all good science fiction, much is

As with all good science fiction, much is answered in the story line, but much more is left for the imaginative and questioning mind to ponder. This is not a realist's narrative, but rather an exploration of the commonality of human (and alien) spirit and soulfulness. Great filmography, awesome location, superb acting.

This is your typical made-for-streaming movie. Only a couple speaking actors keeps the costs down, but forces a simple mediocre story. Not really worth your time, but still not as terrible as some are saying.
