I thought this movie was very funny and

I thought this movie was very funny and entertaining. I would watch again. So it has some cheesy fx and some plot holes it's just a slapstick spy comedy so it's really not offensive at all. There are some cringe parts when the character pause after a line waiting for the audience to laugh but other than that, some of the jokes are actually really funny.

Spy spoof film which never hits the mark. Dean Martin is the main issue for me, if you like him you might like the film, otherwise if you like Bond and want some humour skip this. Not a film for feminists.

Strictly in the "so bad it's good" category

Strictly in the "so bad it's good" category, The Silencers works better as an idealized version (well, a man's idealized version) of the Swingin' Sixties than as a spy spoof. Stella Stevens is both beautiful and believable as the "Helm Girl."
