It is based on a book that predates A Quiet Place or Birdbox. It is not a ripoff!.

Seeing as how this movie was based off of a book published in 2015 and 'A Quiet Place' was an original screenplay in 2018 - I would say that 'A Quiet Place' is the copycat.

A low-budget quiet place... I haven't watched it though

"swarms of killer vespas". For some reason I found that hysterical. Reminds me of Saigon.

the guy was a cult leader and like all cult leaders wanted to rape the girl and for her to have his child.

This movie is so boring, the intention of the mysterious guy and his peers who forced the family to join their group wasn't explained well. I waited it to be explained until the movie ended but it didn't, it's so unclear. I don't recommend it to be watched by others.

Its soooo boring

I don't mind if it's the same like Bird Box or A Quite Place but this movie is just so damn awful. The script, the cast, the plot, the execution... everything is awful.
