@endemion Your ears are curved and your brain is clever specifically so that you CAN determine sounds coming from different directions, lol. If your surround system doesn't sound like surround sound you have it setup incorrectly. Basic tests should have individual sounds coming from all directions so you can confirm the speaker levels, and you should absolutely be capable of standing with your eyes shut and pointing to the speaker being used without seeing it.

Well that sucks, 5.1 audio, waste of space I'm not using that surround crap anyway (lost interest in it a long time ago, my 5.1 setup is set to 2.1 these days), you only have two ears so stereo is good enough.

There was a survey asking if they wanted 5.1 audio for 1080p or 720p res. and looks like most of them chose both.

Hilarious people complaining about a file being too large. Calm down folks, it's free, larger files means better quality. Don't care, I have a huge hard drive that I bought with all of the money I saved by switching to Geico... wait, wrong advert.

Very big files

Enjoyed the movie as a kid, very nostalgic. Not thrilled about the doubling of 720 quality file sizes. So i think I'll pass. Bit of a stickler for file sizes. Such old movies simply don't need to be so big. Having said that love the quality of your work in general. Keep giving the good fight.

I watched this when i was a kid, the dark Noir atmosphere sunk in my brain. This is a beautiful gem and i actually won't mind a remake.
