With slow burning theatrical build, this film is a simple premised film reminiscent of the French Connection. With an extremely hard hitting chase sequence, and an always reliable Roy Scheider performance, this film is an underrated 70’s gem that is almost impossible to find unless you have an old DVD copy. Genre flair and a gritty 70’s New York backdrop, this film is worth seeking out if you’re a fan of old school police chase crime films.

The performances in this film seem muted. Almost like everyone didn't like something about the director or production. I found the story intriguing. However, the dialog was flat. The entire movie is forgettable.
