Plot summary

Allie, an out of work art teacher, has to accept a job with the Santa Squad to help wealthy widower Gordon and his two precious daughters rediscover the magic of Christmas. As Allie is lifting the holiday spirits of the family with Christmas decorations, cookies and shopping, her kindness is rewarded with the most unexpected of gifts: love!

Someone told me it is 13 weeks till

Someone told me it is 13 weeks till Christmas, so I thought I would give this movie a chance and I’m glad I did. This might not be for everyone’s taste but if you enjoy this style of Christmas film then this is one to watch. I found the story well paced, with likeable characters (and actors) and it is definitely one that I’ll watch closer to the season as well. There might have been a slight giggle at a styrofoam snowman being decorated, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely story, good chemistry

I didn't think I would enjoy it as much. The bad ex girlfriend was just perfect, the chemistry between all the actors was good and you could be dragged into the story. The "mistake/turning" point in the movie seemed a bit... Forced. Like they had to find some excuse to drive the two apart in order for them to get back together, but it is at least better than to reintroduce the ex and making the lead girl think they got back together again(or some kind of twist in this) Good movie to watch during the holidays
