Anyone who thinks that the resolution of a film (filmed on actual film - it wasn't just a clever name) is in any way related to television resolutions available at the time is thick. The scanned resolution of a 35mm negative is way over 4k/UHD. Even with the massive transcodong/compression that YTS use, you can still clearly see a difference between them. Even my cat knows that a 4k of a rubbish grainy old film can only show the rubbish grainyness with great clarity. You should just be quiet Mate.

Everyone can test for themselves. Get both 720 and 1080 versions of some older movie. Compare the picture, like open two player windows in your computer. They are the same. No difference, no finer details in 1080 version..

What makes you think if you take an old 480p movie and blow it up to 1080p then it is somehow better? All you get is just a biiger file.
