Plot summary

After a high-profile firing, everything is at stake for 40-year-old Jenna: her career, her ticking biological clock, and her bank account. Her fashion career comeback hits a snag when she falls for a charming, much younger coworker — who happens to be her boss’s son. I’ve only watched the movie because of Union

I’ve only watched the movie because of Union but it was the most mediocre movie I’ve ever watched. Just a case of a failure of a partner when announcing pregnancy and no apologies given when they got together and a case of a mama boy for a fourty something women. The bar is in HELL.

The Perfect Find" es la definición de monotonía

"The Perfect Find" es la definición de monotonía. Más allá de ser un reconocimiento —y en cierta forma un tributo— al cine de antaño, esta cinta no sobresale en ningún apartado. No diría que es precaria; es agradable de ver, el soundtrack es posiblemente lo mejor de la propuesta (a diferencia de la banda sonora, que es lamentable) y los protagonistas no actúan mal, aunque entre ellos nunca sentí química. Es la típica película que encontrarías en el catálogo de cualquier plataforma de streaming: un conflicto ligero diseñado para apagar el cerebro y disfrutar después de un día pesado. Siempre he defendido estas propuestas cuando logran elevar la fórmula estándar, pero esta cinta apenas cumple con lo mínimo. En ningún momento es irritante ni se siente pesada, pero en un mar de películas que se ven y se sienten exactamente igual, esta no hace nada por destacar.
