Plot summary

A group of high schoolers decide to stay in a natural museum after closing hours, but a newly acquired and mysterious lamp hiding a deadly force will turn the fun into horror.

The SFX was really awful. However, a lot

The SFX was really awful. However, a lot of the practical effects not involving SFX were actually pretty good. I thought the acting was above average for this genre. The actors put in an admirable effort in many of the action scenes. If horror is your thing this is probably worth watching. Derivative fare but it had it's moments.

Low budget. Bad acting. Goofy "genie/djin;" apparently a

Low budget. Bad acting. Goofy "genie/djin;" apparently a practical (18 ft talll?) monster with blurred camera and lighting work and unintelligible speech to ineffectively mask how goofy it looks/sounds. If you want this concept in a decent b-movie, I'd recommend "Wishmaster." Still, this was (predictably) fun, if you like this sorta thing.

A story about what happens when teens plan

A story about what happens when teens plan an overnight stay at a museum (without adult supervision) and someone unleashes the spirit inside of a magic lamp by accident. No carpets, just a magic lamp in this one. The beginning may pique your interest and then leave you feeling piqued by the rest.
