Plot summary

A comedy-drama about best friends - one a straight woman, Abbie, the other a gay man, Robert - who decide to have a child together. Five years later, Abbie falls in love with a straight man and wants to move away with her and Robert's little boy Sam, and a nasty custody battle ensues.

A positive spin is this is one of Madonna's best performances. The best thing would be for you to skip this movie. The next best thing would be for you to update your to do lists if you can't get out of watching this wretched film. One of the very worst movies I've ever seen, and I've seen Armageddon.

At the beginning, it seemed like it could

At the beginning, it seemed like it could actually be an interesting story, but towards the end, things just got kinda unrealistic and out of hand. Now, the things that happened are definetely plausible, but it just sorta ruined the story and overloaded it. Overall, it just feels like a story that had potential, but was basically just ruined by several turns of events. And honestly, the whole thing was just a sad dilemma. You can watch it, but don't expect anything extrordinary, its one of those movies to watch when you're bored and don't know what else to do. This is also the first movie I've seen Madonna in, and I'm not really impressed, but well.
