Awkward

The actors, the camera department, the set design, etc are all good. I just think that by that same right, I think the script could have been developed a little further. The plot is really cool, but the execution is where things feel muddled. The motivations are weak, the scenes feel awkward and at times misplaced (some character interactions happen in moments that take a lot of momentum from the story)

The 'Mystery of Emma Thorn" is an enthralling drama that avoids taking the predictable approach of a family drama. With elements of horror, and attention to realistic family dynamics, this mystery has me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The picturesque cinematography and whimsical soundtrack help emphasize the story.
