#film #films #cinema #filme #movie I didn't find anything good in the research about OJ Simpson's relationships. I don't understand why independent and successful women submit themselves to men with this behavior. He cheated on his pregnant wife, started dating Nicole while still married in 1977, and during their courtship, Brown's diary entries date physical abuse as early as 1978. The fact that she was only 18 years old doesn't justify marrying and living with this man for several years after numerous episodes of physical and mental abuse, betrayals... She called the police on Simpson numerous times throughout their marriage, but most calls were not met with a serious response by the LAPD because of Simpson's celebrity status. And even after the murder, he was still treated like an idol, gaining followers on social media, idolized, surrounded by women, living a hero's life... And to top it all off, the film is a way of exonerating poor OJ Simpson, since the murder is credited to serial killer Glen Edward Rogers... The real killer, OJ, lived a long, happy life, and died at 76 in 2024... Confusing film, almost accusing her of committing the assaults against herself, or a Poltergeist phenomenon...

Ouch, that hurt!

Ok, so I will try to keep this short and to the point.

This film tries hard to take it self seriously but fails on so many levels. The story is told from the perspectives of NBS (not sure how this is possible seeing as she was murdered) and some fantasy about an alternative explanation regarding the true killer. (?)

The narrative is so weak and far reaching that you are asked to suspend belief and actually consider this as the actual "true story" of the horrible murders. Despite a few noteworthy names in this stinker (the reappearance of Nick Stahl, to name one) nothing could have helped the awful film.

Such rubbish only serves to diminishe the terrible truth about, what many consider, one of the most notorious murders in American history. Everyone on the planet knows who committed the crime. The attempt to offer up an alternative perspective is sad and desperate.

Don't waste your time.
