This one starts out with a Horrorific incident

This one starts out with a Horrorific incident, and then time passes and enough has been accomplished, most definitely not enough for those whom it matters to. The view of the land in the film is definitely Breathtaking, and at the same time, it is still very Terrifying to be in or lost within. I don't know how to explain this, yet the Ambiance of the atmosphere is Deafening and also a bit Overwhelming. As Heartbreaking as the film is, there are glimpses of Hope that poke through. It looks as if we're messing with something older than time, possibly, and even they aren't sure what's going on either. Such a bold tale and beyond engaging for Horror Folklore or Mythology fans, in so freaking engrossed with this tale. Such a crazy Heartbreaking end to the Madness that is this film, I must, absolutely must watch again.

Very polarizing film... This one will run hot & cold for different people. Definitely Atmospheric and Moody, but a Very Slow Burn...

Yeah, this is a tough one to rate for sure... I really did like the very moody atmosphere and the Mystery created by the ongoing story of what was really happening.It Is Very Slow going though, the reason I'm sure that many have rated it very low here. There is nothing overtly distracting or detracting from the overall story that takes you out of it like bad acting or poor technical aspects. As others have mentioned the locations and cinematography are excellent.To me, this is one of those cases where I feel the Mystery aspect of it works really well and very much so keeps the audience wondering what is going on and involved with the main character who is obsessed with his search. So, we definitely can relate to that. But... as an actual narrative, the story itself moves very slowly and can very easily lose the audience along the way.Contrary to some here, I actually really loved the ending because it was like such a buildup of What The Hell was going on that when you find out the final deal it does pack a nice Creepy, Supernatural punch. But... getting to that point may be a bit slow for some.Like I mentioned, this is a very hard one to rate. I feel that technically and mood wise it is indeed done very well. But, the way the story is structured may not be as compelling to some. I really dug the reveal at the end, but it is indeed a Long way to get there. For its overall atmosphere and sense of mild foreboding, its well done technical aspects and for what I feel is a strong ending, I gave this one a '6'...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I don't waste your time on just restating the plot, but I try to let you know if I think this is an entertaining movie and what it's strengths and weaknesses are.Hopefully, that will be of more benefit and genuinely helpful to you as to whether I feel the movie is worth watching (and also perhaps what 'Type' of film it is and what type of people may enjoy it)My Particular Way of Rating:5 - Flawed, but perhaps with a little entertainment value here and there for some.6. A decently passable story maybe worth a watch.7. A solid film, well made, effective, and entertaining.And, obviously, you can probably figure out what above and below these would mean... : )
