Watched this last night, Had some gorey parts in it but not as much as I thought there would be. First 40 min I thought was pretty boring. It's ok

Nevermind...found out why the AR changes - In the 2026 horror film Twisted, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and starring Lauren LaVera, the aspect ratio is utilized as a dynamic storytelling tool that changes based on the genre and tone of the scene

Why does the aspect ratio keep switching around?

But this guy can't be the villain! It's impossible!

@bduares Thanks for the heads-up. I saw it was from the same production company, but knowing the director is the one who did "Spiral," the worst in the series, I'm glad I didn't download it. Cheers!

This was like watching one of the less accomplished Saw movies, which makes perfect sense given that they were also made by Darren Lynn Bousman. If those didn’t work for you, then this one definitely won’t either. But hey, on the flip side, this also means that if you loved his Saw movies, you should enjoy this one. On IMDb, this movie is still listed under the title of The Monster.
