The screenplay and the acting were so hokey

The screenplay and the acting were so hokey that I couldn’t take it and I turned it off. I tried again a couple of nights later, and suddenly realized I had seen the entire movie several years earlier. Soul Surfer was a much better movie.

My honest opinion on this movie would have to be creative, sentimental, and just absolutely amazing it had me in tears throughout the movie I really hope there will be a part 2 soon hopefully ?????

The Miracle Season is a heartfelt sports drama

The Miracle Season is a heartfelt sports drama about a high school volleyball team coming together after a tragic accident. The emotional foundation is strong, and the story handles its subject with sincerity and respect. Helen Hunt delivers a solid performance, bringing depth and leadership to her role, helping ground the film in authenticity. However, the screenplay follows a very predictable sports formula. From the setbacks to the inspirational comeback moments, you can see every beat coming. While volleyball offers a slightly fresh setting, the structure feels copy and paste. It’s a decent and uplifting film, but its lack of originality makes it more of a one time watch than a memorable sports classic. The emotional speeches and training montages feel familiar, and while they are effective, they never rise above expectations.
