Plot summary

An ex-convict, and ex-cop, finds himself in the midst of drama as a murder, of a female student, is commited at the university where he works as a night watchman. He is reluctantly drawn into the criminal investigation and eventually becomes a suspect in the case. Will he be able to find the real murderer and clear his own name, or not?

A good script with a few flaws, but a lot of twists and turns that keeps one interested. Some good performances. Burt Lancaster is always watchable.

A solid television style movie with a good

A solid television style movie with a good cast. Nicely paced. Just a little generic in terms of story telling, with all the usual thriller plot devices and too many twists and turns leading up to the denouement. And for all that it wasn't hard to guess the perpetrator. Lancaster was good in the lead role.
