Honestly one of the worst films I have ever watched through. I was literally angry at the end. Frustrated with the convoluded, lazy and utterly pointless plot and script. Somehow the CG was terrible in every scene. The fight scenes were all extremely dull and a mess to watch. You know exactly what is going to happen throughout the film from the first 20 minutes. How? How did the same director make such a terrible film? It abanded every cool thing that made The Matrix great. Gone is the film noir style. The neo-punk dress sense. The great perfectly framed shots. I would give it 1/10. Apparently Lana thought it was terrible and didn't want to release it. The cast convinced her otherwise. Bad choice.

What a dull concept and one that nobody asked for. The Matrix is officially dead.

This movies needs to be watched a few months after dissing it the first time ..... it is much better the second time around when you already have a clear grasp of the concept. It is not as bad as originally thought ... still ..it is "the Godfather 3 " of the Matrix franchise

This movie and Die Hard 5 do not exist in my mind. As soon as the Wachowski Brothers became the Wachowski Sisters, I knew this movie would be a massive pile of dog sh*!...I just didn't know it'd be as traumatizingly bad as it was. This is exactly how to ruin the legacy of one of the greatest movies ever made...by making a 4th instalment no one wanted and then making the poor souls who watched it prefer to be dead.

Complete destruction of the whole series. My grandmother would do better. No Morpheous, no agent Smith? What the hell did they think? They fcked up large by the good old Tank character in the second part, but this is the biggest fck up in the history of the movies. BTW, Hugo Weaving was called to be in the movie, but he asked if Watckowskis could change the date because he was working on another project, but they decided to not give an F and to put some cringe dude to play Agent Smith. Jesus... This movie is generous barely 4 out of 10. Enormous disappointment and yes, I will never forgive nerd idiots in the movie mocking the Matrix from 1999 as a "game". What a fcking plot, Jesus.

It was quite ok actually, ignore the bad reviews. Yes, there's woke bs, but at this point who expects better of Hollywood. At least the story is good, so grab a beer, some snacks and just enjoy it for what it is.

This movie was created only to backup genderfluidity thesis and Lana choice, make franchise off of dying matrix concept - while it still has juice. Main concept of this movie was to dethronize Neo from franchise, but for many fans there will be only Matrix Trilogy, and true fan doesn't need nothing except genial 1st movie.
