What a great movie about two best friends

What a great movie about two best friends who love the same girl. Plenty of drama to fill this 100 minute runtime. Three great performances by the lead actors and actress. Tim Treakle

Manxman”This was a film starring Anny Ondra and Carl Brisson.This was the story of love and betrayal. A young man falls in love with the young lady and they began a long courtship. But one day the man has to go on a expedition to earn his living but promises to come back and get married to this young woman. However the best friend of this young man betrayed the trust of his friend and fell in love with his friend’s girlfriend. This is where it all starts to unravel when the young man returned from his overseas adventure. Although the secret did not come out to almost to the end of the film it finally did and as always with Alfred Hitchcock movies there was a different twist to the ending which I will not tell you.

It’s passable. I enjoy seeing Phil and Kate

It’s passable. I enjoy seeing Phil and Kate look miserable while Pete is overcome with joy - a fun juxtaposition in acting that silent films do very well… they have to, after all.
