Having seen Martin Scorsese’s The Last Waltz countless

Having seen Martin Scorsese’s The Last Waltz countless times since its release back in the late ‘70s, I’m comfortable in saying that this is one of the greatest concert films ever produced, thanks primarily to the striking visuals, the pristine sound, and, most importantly, some truly outstanding performances. Documenting The Band’s farewell performance, it is filled with the joy that great live music generates. The highlights are endless – Robbie Robertson picking up Eric Clapton’s solo after Clapton’s guitar strap breaks, a stellar performance of The Weight with the help of The Staple Singers, Ronnie Hawkins’ contagious enthusiasm, and Bob Dylan actually cracking a smile…twice. The only possible beef would be the glut of interviews that disrupt the flow of the concert, but who am I to question Martin Scorsese?

If your end of 70s music it's best

If your end of 70s music it's best movies of all time the interviews are hilarious and the music is just top notch. All the Guest musicians were great a must watch for music fans.
