i'm a believer but like others here have pointed out, calling this history is stretching credulity. muvees like this are talking to our hearts, not mind. i think it's watchable
@Subluxation Yes - Read it - Studied it - Went to a Marist School AND I'M AN ATHEIST I've also read the fantasy of Lord Of The Rings too...I preferred it over the fantasy of the Bible as it was far more engaging and the Characters were much more believable. Anybody that believes that the Bible is anything more than an inspirational guide in 2026 NEEDS THEIR HEAD EXAMINED!!!
None of you C*NTS even watched the movie, just here to show you have a TINY C0CK and suck a lot of them! SHUT THE F**K UP.
If you think Yehoshua HaMashiach is a fantasy figure, why do so many Pharisees condemn him in the Talmud? Why did the Roman Empire forbid worshipping a nonexistent person? Yarim Ha'am Veyokhiakh Shedvaro Vetorato Omdim. Quod scripsi, scripsi.
Aaah, another fantasy movie presented as historical truth. Fyi, crucifixion involved the tying up by the wrist because nailing the palms or wrist wouldn't support the body.
My 'similar movies' shows Return of the Jedi, Step Up 3, The Big Lebowski, and Jaws: The Revenge... I guess they're similar in that they're all movies?
A good film from the New Testament of the Bible. The Last Supper is a sacred story about envy and betrayal.
I respect anyone's beliefs, but funny we have artifacts from all these events in history including dinosaurs (prior to biblical times) and you can see the evolution of an ape species into caveman and progressing to modern man, and there is NOTHING to prove there was a jesus, an ark (2 of EVERY animal...really?!) or tablets with the 10 commandments and other famous tales. It would be great if there was, but I guess that is where "faith" comes into play.
I'm not particularly rel1g1ous myself, and some might dismiss it all as superstition or backward thinking. But the truth is, these so-called "backward" ideologies have saved people teetering on the edge of total collapse. Rel1g1on brought them back from the point of no return. Some people just need a higher power to watch over them, and someone to be vulnerable with and surrender to, even if it's just an illusion. If this illusion keeps them going on strong in their life and prevents them from becoming a total wreck, who am I to attempt to snap them out of it? Good for them.
@Viper2089 because Christians need to believe that they have free will. That the only way they can be saved even if it contradicts an omnipresent, omniscient and all knowing God.
Where are Kirk Cameron (as Jesus) and Kevin Sorbo (as Judas)? That's the version I want to see... in it's full cringe-worthy, greater than life, low budget glory!
While I was watching this movie I was constantly asking myself if Jesus is the savior who came to save sinners why didn't he save Judas from himself. Judas was arguably the one in most need of redemption among his disciples. If Judas actions were preordained to fullfil the prophecy was he truly free to choose otherwise? If not why is he the bad guy? Peter also betrayed Jesus by denying him three times yet he was "saved". Is this salvation game rigged against guys like Judas and only those who are already "marked" to be saved see the redemption?
