Not worth the 90 minutes you’ll never get

Not worth the 90 minutes you’ll never get back. Nothing against the actors, it’s all in the choices of the dialogue and failure to portray this story. No issue with the plot, let be absurd, which is fine, but you can’t just mail in the details that make the quest “believable”

Officially not Kate & Leopold (2001) remake, but the main plot idea is actually being taken from there. Romantic fantasy movie with a little bit of comedy. Pretty warm and cute anyway. After watching, i was not surprised at all about sex of director. Vibe of woman's hands is feeling like snow in the air of the season (same as for The Mirror has two faces, What Women Want). Monika Mitchell's film definitely have that kind fairytale attitude. Unfortunately, lots of awkward moments and old cliches. The cast was totally unknown and full of personal introductions. Vanessa Hudgens acts emotionally. It was good idea to take Englishman Josh Whitehouse for knight of that places, but this role demonstrates in some case poor acting skills. Such time travelling comedy is definetely worse than in Les Visiteurs (1993) and it's first sequel. Well, first cinema experience of watching original knowing so little about. Understood the whole idea, but not most of dialogues. 6/10

Has aged well to be fair. A Knight

Has aged well to be fair. A Knight, Sir Cole, from 1334 Norwich magically travels forward in time to 2019 Bracebridge, a small city in Ohio via an old Croons enchanted amulet, with the quest of making Vanessa Hudgens finally have a nice Christmas. He’s confused, obviously, and desperately searching for his horse Sherwyn. All cliches are explored in the rom com reminiscent of the 1992 comedy movie ‘California Man’. There’s a clash of culture but through his chivalry he naturally endear’s himself to the local community, most importantly Vanessa Huggins heart (and her prissy sister). I don’t want to spoil the wild twists and turns but suffice to say; it’s heartwarmingly Christmassy and well cheesey. If you’re looking for cheese and port, go buy some and watch this Christmas cracker.
