Plot summary

Trapped on a remote island by a hurricane, a group discover a doctor has been experimenting on creating half sized humans. Unfortunately, his experiments have also created giant shrews, who when they have run out of small animals to eat, turn on the humans.

A very entertaining B movie with some pretty

A very entertaining B movie with some pretty established actors in it. Good escapist fun. Take it for what it is.

Wow, the visual design of the shrews is

Wow, the visual design of the shrews is horrendously cheesy. The constant switch back and forth between hand puppets and dogs wearing costumes is laughable. I cannot believe someone thought investing money in producing a sequel and reboot decades later would be worthwhile.
