After all the crud that comes out of Hollywood these days, this was actually a rare one. The story was interesting, original, & thought provoking. The characters were well casted, compelling, & fitting to their roles. It's a bit slow, but the plot line makes up for it (It's not an action film). Overall, it was a very well rounded movie. 7.5-8/10

OH! And forgot to say, the guy that says ''You the cop killer?'' when Brody's character gets out of his first 'jacket' session, looks VERY like Neil Cassidy (Moriarty in Kerouac's On The Road, and driver for Ken Kesey's Merry Prankster's Cool Aid Acid Test bus!) And would have been perfect in the fairly recent movie version, which was a pretty brave movie.

The Jacket, WOW! It amazes me when such heady psychological concepts actually translate into a good movie and work well. And this is one of the BEST examples of that. EVER!
