Plot summary
A parasitic alien soul is injected into the body of Melanie Stryder. Instead of carrying out her race's mission of taking over the Earth, "Wanda" (as she comes to be called) forms a bond with her host and sets out to aid other free humans.

Saoirse Ronan is one of the most talented actresses working today and I love watching her do her thing but even she isn't good enough to save this boring sci fi film. The plot plods along predictably, the voice inside her sounds seriously stupid, with stupid lines, stumbling into not one but two awful endings. 4/10

a rare sci-fi alien invasion movie that doesn't go the overdone us vs. them route...but somewhere in the middle. rare for hollywood, that is. thanks for the 1080p :)
Many more people would like the movie if Wanda remained dead. I, a sucker for optimism, loved it.
