I've been searching for this for 30 years! When I was in the 7th grade, in 1994, my science class teacher used clips of this movie in class. And I've been searching for it ever since. Thanks for posting!
Charmingly naive. Insect populations are declining at a rate of 10% per decade thanks to human activity. Enjoy your insect-pollinated food (75% of the species used for food are insect pollinated) while you can! Soylent Green anyone?

Watched this at the theater when I was a kid. One of the BEST nature documentaries ever. Maintains both intrigue and interest all along. Don't care if Dr. Nils Hellstrom is fictitious, he truly lives in this film and onwards.
