Timely movie with meaningful characters and important message for the society. Rashmika gave a phenomenal performance. Rahul brought a thought-provoking masterpiece to the big screens.

A good movie but not as good as

A good movie but not as good as the hype that was created towards it, it goes slow and takes long time to establish the love story and most of the movie is just the love story and by the time the ending comes you feel that the ending was too short and not deserved, maybe they could have cut down the love story a little and added a better ending, also the acting in some areas was really cringe and not good, 7/10

Honestly, I think the message that this movie

Honestly, I think the message that this movie was trying to portray is extremely important especially dealing with toxic relationships and misogyny. But I think there's real potential to make this story much more meaningful had we saw more character development in the male lead as well. If anything I think the female lead is also at fault for not communicating properly in the relationship. Yes I understand that Vikram has some problematic aspect to his personality, but I believe they could have been better handled if the story made more sense. I believe the last segment was completely unnecessary and was honestly incongruent with the rest of the story. I know they needed a redemption arch but this one was just too far fetched. Again, I thought the issue could have been handled better had the male lead gotten better character development. That way the story could prove itself to be more constructive as opposed to the ultra feminist wrap-up they decided to go with.
