Plot summary

When a man dies of a heart attack, a stage and radio mentalist believes he has willed him to die because he was angry with the man. Riddled with guilt, the mentalist cancels further shows, breaks off his engagement to his female partner, who can read minds while in a hypnotic trance, and takes refuge in the eerie wax-museum-cum-home of another woman friend.

2.5 stars; It didn't live up to the

2.5 stars; It didn't live up to the "Inner Sanctum Mystery" standards. In fact, it wasn't much of a mystery, just a soap-operatic combination of standard hypnotist and wax museum horror films. Lon Chaney Jr. did his best to save a mushy murder plot; however, he didn't succeed.

Elena Verdugo! (Later of Marcus Welby fame) Hokey, obvious, derivative Wax Museum Mesmerism Mash-up led by Lon Chaney Jr. Has an intense musical score and old time radio charm.
