Plot summary

An American teenager who is obsessed with Hong Kong cinema and kung-fu classics makes an extraordinary discovery in a Chinatown pawnshop: the legendary stick weapon of the Chinese sage and warrior, the Monkey King. With the lost relic in hand, the teenager unexpectedly finds himself travelling back to ancient China to join a crew of warriors from martial arts lore on a dangerous quest to free the imprisoned Monkey King.

The Forbidden Kingdom was such a blast! Seeing

The Forbidden Kingdom was such a blast! Seeing Jackie Chan and Jet Li together was a total dream, but the whole vibe of the movie really pulled it all together. The fight scenes were wild, super creative and funny at the same time, so I was hooked the whole way through. I also really dug the main character's glow up throughout the journey. It's got the perfect mix of action, laughs, and heart, making it a solid watch for anyone. If you're into martial arts flicks, you seriously have to check this out.

I don’t know what the hell these reviews

I don’t know what the hell these reviews are about. I’m thinking the liberal are angry because they think it was whitewashed. Your review should be based on if the movie was good or not. If you have an agenda get rid of it. This kid should have been nominated for an Oscar. His acting was flawless. This is why I don’t watch the Oscars anymore. It’s pathetic and these movie stars think they’re above us humans. ‘N
