Plot summary
After a mysterious cosmic event rips Oak Street from suburbia and transports their neighborhood to someplace unknown, the Platt family soon discovers that their very survival depends on them sticking together as they navigate their now unrecognizable surroundings.

Lots of negative reviews for this, not sure why. I thought it was pretty damn good. No comparison to all of these other cr*ppy movies thats being released on here. This one has lots of action and is watchable. I men who dosen't like dinosaur movies
We honestly are not picky with movies but this one has so many plot holes. I mean, I guess watch it if there's really nothing else to watch

I enjoyed it. I thought the effects were good, not superb, but believable for the most part. I do admit the shaggy Camarasaurus' shagging did give me an eye twitch. Was it campy, with some rather ridiculous scenarios and conversations that were in bad taste/timing? Yes, but do you know how you would truly react in their shoes? F@ck no. Yes, the ending was a tad pat and cheesy...most are. And...it's a movie! Suspension of disbelief is a given you morons. Didn't like it? Think you can do better? Then go make your own D4mn movie and we'll see just how good of a sh1t show you end up making. I swear, you naysayers whine more than my mother...and that's a lot. 7.5 out of 10...just to piss you knucke draggers off, lol.
It's silly, it's fun, it doesn't explain much. They try to add some reasons and "consistency" (bullying, divorce, teenage problems, "I can't leave my pet behind") but it wasn't necessary. We're watching to see some dinossaurs in the city.
For a better execution of this premise look up the comic book Cavewoman, it too involves a modern suburbian town transported to a land of dinosaurs, but it also features a super strong woman with a giant rack.
It had potential. Was it not for the bad acting, the actors, the terrible writing, the awful special effects, dodgy camera work and the generally unlikeable characters it could've been a great movie. I was rooting for the dinosaurs in this case.
Poor dinosaurs, weak story and thin characters I couldn't care about, even the cgi dog. The most emotion I could summon up was in hoping the children were eaten.
Th 6.4/10 IMDB score is what beats me. Hoow is a movie like this above average....It's a 3 for me it was bad (the soundtracks, the script, the cgi) the actors tried their very best though.
isn't this just a ripoff of Obduction? That game was good, but the story was good because it was a mystery for most of the story's telling. it was not a two-hour story at all.
You should understand that Jurassic Park was released in 1993, and it is way more real and interesting than this one. Waste of time.
That was pretty bad. From this point on I will never watch another dinosaur themed movie.
A stupid movie, with stupid execution. 4/10 at best.
