CGI at some points was absolutely amazing, legit sometimes was thinking they used practicals, for some close possible shots, but apparently was all cgi. Budget well spent in that department. Everything else about movie is damn bad, boring, uninteresting story.

This was awesome. Lots of fun. Great actors and good plot.

The shout out to Arrested Development at the end was a hilarious easter egg (Barry Zukerkorn: He's very good) overall, not a bad little flick. Plenty of action, the jokes weren't trying too hard for pulls. The story was decent, just don't overthink anything while watching this. An easy 5/10

Final product felt rushed and lackluster. Expected alot more from the film in terms of plot and depth. Certainly with how much of promoting was being done via ads on YouTube etc, one would have thought this film would capture it's audience with breathtaking CGI and futuristic vibes. Sadly it felt odd and missed the opportunity to really create something special.

Movie was quite funny and okay to watch just once, but it was quite flat and not impactful enough to ever consider watching it again in the future.

Many folks say they are concerned about MCU Secret Wars due to the multiple flopped films by the Russos. Personally I am much more worried about Markus + McFeely. Coz I feel like they have not been open to objective critique since Winter Soldier. Always the "trust the process, we are good at this" vibes. Esp. the way they clapped back + defended Endgame plotholes against legit fan challenges, plus having to try proving themselves again, I am concerned that they will repeat the same mistake of prioritize checking specific boxes over telling a compelling well-written story.

@DirkoMaxx I think the film is def. a better watch if you ignore the source material, similar to the Divergent series. Walker Scobell from The Adam Project is prob. closer to MJF charisma, but they prob. needed a female MC. CP felt too "StarLordy" for me. Just like the StarWars ST, incredible VFX but mediocre plot.

@thejism Absolute fair response that is also commonly heard for the Fast Saga + Transformer films. But my minor counterpoint is, does said fun need to cost 300+ M? Unlike the broligarchs, most of us can't just impulsively burn a few hundred M to be momentarily entertained.

The whole part about the treaty is missing from this version.

The question is not how good it is, the question is ... will I be entertained. Some people wanna get over themselves, they probably drink coke and yet they cannot enjoy a flic meant for fun?

Forget the positive comments, movie is just fking terrible.

Not as bad as all the critics & "influencers" are saying. They're going for a modern 'Back To The Future' vibe and kind of get there but MBB is no Michael J Fox. With someone charismatic in the lead it would've been a really good movie imho.

I've seen far worse movies. Visually it's really nice, plot so so, acting is fine. I'd rate a 5.5 for the visuals. The rest is pretty predictable.
