Dutchman doesn’t hold your hand—and it shouldn’t. Andre Gaines reimagines Amiri Baraka’s classic with simmering tension instead of loud moments. Anchored by André Holland’s restrained performance, the film quietly exposes the pressure of navigating spaces where doing everything "right" still may not protect you. It’s unsettling, thought-provoking, and the kind of film that lingers with you after it’s over.

It was an ok movie, the point being

It was an ok movie, the point being the wife cheated on him and how devastated he was is understandable but in the end he fixes the mistake he made with the random women since it technically never happened but why should he still forgive the wife that cheated on him? She broke the sacred thing you have between each other. It's very slow paced but works at times but still slow. I was alone in theaters when I went to watch this.
