Plot summary

Distraught, confused, and half-wild with fear, Sarah Carter emerges alone from the Appalachian cave system where she encountered unspeakable terrors. Unable to plausibly explain to the authorities what happened - or why she's covered in her friends' blood - Sarah is forced back to the subterranean depths to help locate her five missing companions.

This is a very pale and far more

This is a very pale and far more generic version of the story being told in the first movie. As such, it is a far less interesting movie as well. The characters are far less engaging, the monsters are far less scary, and the tension simply doesn't materialize in the same way that the first one did. The ending leaves a few interesting hooks for what could have been further stories, but this movie is simply not entertaining enough.

Complete absolute coprolite. This was a grotesque mockery

Complete absolute coprolite. This was a grotesque mockery of the first original film. It is as if they spent four years just pasting together garbage to make more money. The writing was putrid. The directing was vile. The lighting was an utter joke. The cinematography was horrifically pathetic. And the editing was probably as good as they could do with the crap work the production team handed to the editor. This is a sickening embarrassment that should have never been attempted. Especially if this is how unethically and uncaringly they were going to handle the material. This is a perversion of film and justice. It is as heinous as what they did after the original "Wrong Turn" movie. I do not want to not live in a world where this is what is produced and given to the public for consumption by the movie industry. What a disgusting travesty of everything that is holy in the world of movies.
