Saw this movie when I was 8 years old. I was not quite myself after that. I still recall scenes of desolation and despair in the faces of those who survived. Its a cautionary tale to any who think nukes are the way to go........

when this came out...we were living in Germany(west) on an Army Base(Würzburg).I played around the silo's with Nuclear Weapons in them.Jesus the drills dad had to do. Endless protestors , Army jeeps with Big Guns running up and down the length of fence It was a scary time Thank You for taking me back to my childhood.

Most realistic movie ever about post atomic bomb apocalypse!

First time I saw a "We interrupt this program" years after seeing this movie as a child I started crying because I believed they only interrupted program in this kind of event. Thank you for putting it up!!!
