Unfortunately this is the type of film we get to look forward to for at least the next few years...Hollywood can't just make a film for entertainment purposes anymore, the writers, directors, producers...etc think they need to include all of these political messages and themes, and at the end of the day besides being poorly written and directed that's why this film doesn't and never will hold a candle to the original classic. Do us all a favor Hollywood and stop trying to push your woke political beliefs on the rest of us.
No connection with the original at all other than ripping off a few of the lesser spells. This was The Craft Light, Woke and infinitely less well cast. The actresses are in no way anywhere near as good as the original cast. No real passion, no dedication, and no chemistry.
Fock this trainwreck, it was almost as bad as the new Ghostbusters.
I normaly don't write a comment, but this movie deserves it: it was such a waste of time, just plain stupid. i was so disappointed bexause I actually liked the original back than.
this movie had incredible potential. first half was great. 2nd half was like an entirely new director took over. Zoey Luna did not do a half bad job playing a female. but they couldn't help but to put their two cents in on transgenders males playing a female in, but he did a good job. The problem in the movie went COMPLETE political correctness. ALL MAN BAD (unless you think you are a girl) ALL FEMALE GOOD. And the end of the movie, could not have been any worse, as was ripped right out the 1998 playbook of Charmed. Seriously, avoid this movie.
First half of the film was really fun. Although there were no character backgrounds for the 3 other girls (I mean their ancestries or how they became witches?). The climax felt flat and rushed. The villain had no background as well. I was hoping that since it's already 2020 that the film would have more magical battles or whatever. Lol It's watchable but don't expect much like me.
Imagine, if you will, a group of elementary school students watching the 1996 movie, The Craft and then they tried to remake it for some WB Teen Network, with less aggression and more PC friendliness.
That movie is this.

Very cringe movie for a teenager woke girl.
