Plot summary

Justin Quayle is a low-level British diplomat who has always gone about his work very quietly, not causing any problems. But after his radical wife Tessa is killed he becomes determined to find out why, thrusting himself into the middle of a very dangerous conspiracy.

Didn’t love the ending but it was a

Didn’t love the ending but it was a mesmerizing and pretty bleak watch which I like. The scene in the plane with the little girl that he fights to stay on the plane and loses was incredibly sad but loving when he finally realizes why his wife gave her life for these people. Like a lot of conservatives they don’t know why people empathize with others until it affects them directly.
