This just now is plain sad. after watching Devil on Trial, and realising how much of a manipulative bunch the Warrens were, and then just adding their daughter here in this film with same old mix and literally CG or UNBELIEVABLE random stuff happening, even this movie sucked. What was that?? THIS MOVIE WAS PLAIN STUPID with the most random "scare" that was basically CG. Didn't even felt anything . plus the real life Warrens were scammers , and then this movie was a bummer.... its good that they are closing Conjuring franchise. Its high time.

FYI if you use Deluge WB is doing that thing where they somehow close the client. Only ever happens with newer WB movies.

not bad idk what to rate it but watchable

Not bad. It's more of a background movie. The ending felt rushed, and the fact that the power of love and belief was used to defeat the demon instead of prayer seems weird. Overall, I would rate it 6/10.

Good movie. Unattractive girl makes it less impactful.

This is standard conjuring film, its a good watch. people just hating because the daughter doesnt show boobs..

Now none of The Conjuring series were ever going to win any awards. They're kitschy, and full of almost every jump-scare trope you can think of, but they were entertaining to watch. This one though, jumped the shark within the first 5 minutes, and then pieced together a few scenes that were kind of connected in what was a horribly thin plot. Anyone who has read up on the real Warrens or has seen any of the documentaries about them know that they were in the whole 'paranormal' grifters scene in the 60s and 70s; something that was made popular by people like Levay, etc. These guys just knew how to do it better, selling the rights to their stories to make books like The Amityville Horror, and The Devil in Connecticut, all while keeping the money for themselves and giving a pittance to the people actually in the stories. The final act of The Conjuring movie universe hits that point on the nose; call it in, collect the check.

The lowest part of conjuring

it's best to watch it on a weekend late afternoon when you just want to chill. The movie is good; my suggestion is to just lower your expectations and you'll enjoy it.
