Plot summary

In 1458, five years after the fall of Constantinople to the Turk, eighteen cardinals meet to elect a new pope. Rodrigo Borgia, a 27 year old cardinal learns to play a very dangerous game.

“Thriller”? The only thrilling part was when the

“Thriller”? The only thrilling part was when the blinds on the windows were at last opened and one could actually see, without squinting, what was on the screen. The trend of artsy cinematography meaning as little light as possible is tiring. Adequately acted, but no more than what you’d expect from this seasoned group.
